They are a labour of love but have become less arduous to maintain as time goes by. There seems to be a lessening of stories, or that may be just my perception due to the fact that while I continue to love h/d I have been somewhat distracted by a shiny new fandom. :-)

I wish I would have time to do such lists with the fics I have (close to 6000) but since I still work full time and many hours I just collaps on my bed when I come home. It was easier when I was younger (((
But being older has its perks too since I'm a happy grand-mother of 3 (one more in december)

I'm totally addicted to h/d but also to h/s, I discovered fanfiction only one year ago, and I think I'll stay addicted till the end of my life :-) I just love them as my own children lol

Keep up the good work and thanks again, it helps all of us finding more stories much easier

I have been failing at google-fu on this one, and no-one at hp-storyfinders has been able to help. I figured, since you post such wonderful rec lists maybe you would know it.

I remember it was H/D, novella-length, post-war, and in it Harry had spent time in the Carribean or South America or something before returning to Hogwarts (I think to teach). The whole thing was peppered with folk magic and bits of spanish and maybe there was a chupacabra in there? I remember a scene where Harry is comforting Draco, murmuring "hermanito" over and over.

I have a hankering to read the thing again if I can find it. It's *not* Resonant's Transfigurations, which I just re-read.

Any ideas?

Hi, thanks for the compliments. :-)

I think that this might be Tranfigurations by Resonant on AO3 here. Harry was in the USA, Florida I think but he did have a number of folk remedies etc.
anyway hope it's the right story, this one is well worth reading if it's not. :-)
